Join our climbing community at Cornell! We are a group of Cornell students who are striving to make climbing more exciting, accessible, and challenging for all levels of climbers. Whether you’re a beginner who has never climbed before or a comp boulderer looking to send the hardest routes, we have something for everyone. You'll find us at the Lindseth Climbing Center in Bartels Hall every week for our practices and club nights, where we train, socialize, and grow together.
Getting Involved
To get involved, visit our club page on CampusGroups to sign a waiver and access the Slack. Slack is our main point of communication, where we give information about our meetings, practices, events, and trips. Don't hesitate to contact us at Cornellclimbing@gmail.com with any questions or ideas.
We're here to help make your climbing journey enjoyable and fulfilling!

Anna Siegel '28, SecretaryHello, I’m Anna and I am a sophomore at CALS studying Environment & Sustainability with a focus on ecology and public policy. I have been climbing as much as I could and when I could since middle school, and now teach rock climbing and tree climbing for COE. I do research at the Hedrick Lab and the Cornell Lab of Ornithology and am involved in many of the environmental, naturalist, and climate groups on campus. I love to meet new people and belay folks at the gym, so say hello if you’d like to chat, climb, or grab coffee!

Madison Larter '26, TreasurerHi all! My name is Madison and I’m a junior studying Computer Science and Linguistics. I started climbing my freshman year (at Lindseth) and have been hooked ever since. I love climbing outside, especially trying hard on bolts and adventuring up multipitch trad climbs. Outside of CRCC, I work as a czar at Lindseth, teach BROCK, and ski for the club nordic team. I’m looking forward to exploring more outdoor climbing with the CRCC community this semester and beyond!

Sydney Trunnell '28, Co-Comps ChairHi! My name is Sydney, and I have been climbing for nearly half of my life (which is crazy to realize!). Though I began on the comp circuit as a Team kid back in 2016, I now climb avidly just for fun and love heading outdoors to send whenever the chance arises. I recently began setting for Lindseth, so if you ever have comments or complaints about new sets, I'm all ears. When you inevitably see me around the gym, please say hi! I'm always stoked to lend a belay :)

Ana Hoffman Sole '26, Co-Gear ChairHello! I’m Ana, a senior studying Biology and Oceanography. I climbed a little bit my last year of high school but I really got into it my first year of college when the climbing wall became my safe space. When I’m not at the climbing gym, either on the wall or working behind the desk you can find me doing research in one of the labs on campus, making stuff in the machine shop or the maker lab, or sometimes racing canoes with the Cornell Outing Club. Welcome to CRCC and let’s go on some adventures together!

Gurpartap (Paul) Singh '27, Co-Social ChairI'm Gurpartap Singh but I also go by the name Paul. I am a junior at the Nolan School of Hotel Administration. I am from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania so I am by default a Steelers fan. Outside of climbing, I enjoy exploring different cultures through food, a huge motorsports fan along with car enthusiast in general, and I love napping, even though I don't sleep much. Andrew McLaughlin, Faculty Advisoranm67@cornell.edu Believing that experience is the best way to learn, Andrew likes to jump in feet first. He has been backpacking since he couldn't carry a helpful load and started to experience the snow bundled in a pulk behind his parents. While studying Geological Sciences at University of Oregon, he fell in love with rock climbing and has worked in challenge course and industrial rope access settings so that he can look out on beautiful scenery with great people ever since.
